Surrounded by traditional Fado restaurants, cafés and local shops, it is the perfect base to explore Lisbon on foot. . Check-in is self-service. To make your arrival smooth and easy, we will send you all the details around 30 minutes before check-in. . It is not allowed to leave luggage in the apartment. . The building does not have an elevator and guests will have to climb approximately 10 steps. . For emergency after 6 PM you can contact us through our Guest Line number. . As many of the streets are pedestrian-only, the final part of your journey must be done on foot. Private vehicles, including Uber, cannot access the historic area, although authorized taxis can. . Parking: Parking on the surrounding streets is reserved for residents with a permit. If you're travelling by car, we recommend using one of the nearby public parking garages. . Internet is available throughout the apartment. However, because of the historic infrastructure in the area, fiber optic service is not yet available and occasional connection interruptions may occur. If the connection stops completely, just let us know and we'll contact the provider as soon as possible. . The apartment is equipped with modern appliances, but the electrical infrastructure in this part of the city is older. To help avoid tripping the circuit breaker, we recommend not using several high-power appliances at the same time. . During the month of June, especially from June 10th to 13th, Alfama comes alive with the famous Santos Populares celebrations. Expect live music, grilled sardines, dancing, and lots of people enjoying the festivities in the streets until late. It's one of the most special times to experience Lisbon, but it also means the neighborhood will be livelier and noisier than usual.
